How many colors of ink are you using? Will this be screen printed? While many designers are artists... Many are web designers who have no knowledge of how to design and prepare files for commercial printing or shirt screen printing....

Thanks for the feedback and questions. I'd like to do 5-6 colors plus the shirt color (not decided yet). I was thinking a charcoal shirt which could be used for the road as well.
