Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a blog that targets full-time, career-driven moms who are also pursuing higher education. The logo should be clear, crisp, formatted for use in different venues (digital, print, clothing, etc) and representative of what I anticipate to be a professionally-run brand. This logo should appeal to women, specifically scholarly women who juggle motherhood and their own educational and professional pursuits; therefore, it should exude a polished, soft-yet-serious, level of femininity.

Target Market(s)

Mothers ages 18-40 who are considering (or currently pursuing) a college degree.

Requirements

Must have

• In this design, I would like to see an inclination towards a feminine aesthetic, but not too cutesy to where it cannot be taken seriously. CLEAN, polished, crisp design.

Nice to have

• I'm open to the inclusion of elements pertaining to motherhood (bottles, babies, diapers, etc) and education (graduation caps, stack of books, graphical representations of a university, a custom seal accompanied by the name, etc).

Should not have

• If human figures are used, no one ethnicity should be depicted or shown preference as this is intended to be an inclusive blog. Not busy.
