T-shirt Design Brief

This design should be simply of an oil rig drill-bit with the words "Just the tip" around it.

Because the consumer audience consists of oil field workers, the drill bit should be recognizable as the current type of drill bit used in the fields. It doesn't need to have a 'background'.

The art attachments are for reference only. The image of the shirt is the genre that we are looking to match. The drill bit is also a reference to show what I mean as "current type of drill bit"

Target Market(s)

The young men working in the oil rig earn great money. When they are not covered to their necks in oil they wear hip, current brands such as American Eagle, Etnies, Quicksilver, etc. They are used to buying graphic tees that are highly-polished, we strive to maintain that standard.

We are helping them establish their identity as oil field workers by giving them a banner brand that brings them together as well as offering humorous shirts that have punchlines that their peers will understand.
