Logo Design Brief
It's a somewhat masochistic endeavor, but I get paid to make state and local government (mostly cities and counties) use technology to make the lives of their residents and businesses better. I'm not a software developer; I work with administration and elected officials to figure out how to use information in a way that will attract new business, make it easier to live there, often to dream up new services that people may want that tech can help. I don't always end up working with technology (it can often be just reorganizing departments or thinking up ways to cut through red tape) but it often does.
My brand is me. I have worked on both sides of the aisle (meaning for government and as a consultant), so I was boring and just named my company after me. That said, it would be nice to have a monogram or an icon that did something creative with my name or initials. I am a woman in tech and even though I have been doing this for a long time, I want to convey that I have new and creative ideas, so something modern is desired.
Target Market(s)
State, city and county elected and administrative officials. But it is tech, so something modern is desired, even if my clients are not. And a lot of them actually are.

- bits and bytes, 1s and 0s, computer mice, keyboards, displays or other computer paraphernalia. I understand the power that technology can bring, but I'm a chic geek.
