Logo Design Brief

We have a preliminary design of our company logo. We'd like to make the basic idea an strikingly artistic one. Our company is a genetic cancer testing technology company. Specifically we use cell free DNA methylation to detect cancer. The current design (see attached) make use of the DNA methylation structure as an art form. The task is to convert our design idea into a really professionally appealing design.
