App Design Brief

I am looking for a new design for my app. Please see the attached current design.

Currently, I have a functioning app but the colors and design are awful!
The logo is great but the rest of the app needs a refresh.
(Logo hi res not yet available but will upload soon.)
New colors or anything that is cutting edge.

Basically: It is a secure social media app within a school system where the teachers, students and parents can text, exchange photos, plan curriculum, etc.

I NEED ONLY landing page with a new look!
Looking for one distinct design for the landing page with new look.
The developer will apply this one design towards the rest of the pages/app screens.

Because part of the social media I need the feel and look of what is now the trend. Something that will attract and keep the client(s) interested. I am really leaving all the creative work to the designer and open to any suggestions.
