Logo Design Brief

We are a Mixed Martial Arts /Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy/school. We already had a logo but possibly looking to update the logo if we find the right design. Our main color scheme is Yellow, Red, Black but not all colors have to be used. Inspiration from our previous design can be found on our website at www.cabrakai.com.

FYI, the school name was initially a play on the words Cobra Kai from the Karate Kid movie (Cabra being our location) and hence the original design incorporated a Cobra as homage to the Cobra Kai logo in the movie. The final design should look like a simple but sleek emblem and subtly incorporate the cobra to keep a close tie to that without using a blatant Cobra like the original logo - subtle.
