T-shirt Design Brief

We are looking for a t-shirt graphic for our new clothing business. It is called Desert Girl. Basic info is below. Feel free to improvise on the design.

-Must say "Desert Girl" (all caps OK)
-Palm Springs, Ca themed design without saying the words "Palm Springs". We want this design to appeal to anyone who might be visiting a desert, not just Palm Springs.
-We do not want it to look too touristy (i.e. bright colors, city landmarks, etc.)
-We would prefer the design to be one color. Think Hollister type graphic.
-Please Google Palm Springs Palm Trees and Windmills if you plan on using those in the design. We would like the design to relate to P.S. as much as possible.
