Logo Design Brief
It's been 10 years since I first turned on the mic to host a national jazz radio show in Canada. The time has come to move on. My last day on air hosting will be June 30th.
Ten years is also a perfect time to put a bow on a cherished career. At 51 years old I've decided to start my career all over again. I'm turning my creative efforts to the internet as a content creator. I'm launching a new YouTube channel called "Tim Tamashiro - More Meaningful Me".
Jazz will always be a love of mine but I'm also passionate about so much more. I love travel, curiosities, food, meditation, mindfulness and people. The good news is... I have a map. It's called my "Ikigai". Ikigai is a concept that comes from Okinawa, Japan where my grandparents are from. It's a strategy for LIVING a meaningful life. There are four components:
1. Do what you love
2. Do what you're good at
3. Do what the world needs
4. Find the ways to earn a living from your gifts
So I'd like a logo that captures my new endeavour. I'd like it to include my name (Tim Tamashiro), my tag line (more meaningful me) and a four ring symbol that represents Ikigai.
