Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for my music, to use on promos and merchandise, as well as on social media. I go by the name Dread Champion, which is from the book of Jeremiah in the Bible. Part of the reason I chose it is because I am all about spiritual growth in my music, and I confront anxiety and fear more than anything else, so I wish to be a champion over my own dread.

The most important thing is that I want the logo to not just be a display of the name, but a piece of art in itself. I want it to convey the same feeling my music does.

I'd like a logo with some color, particularly turquoise or teal, but still with a serious and somewhat dark overall theme, primarily just a design that is bold and maybe a bit aggressive without being overly busy. Darker colors will fit the idea better than light or playful colors.

I don't want a logo that involves any religious or musical symbols, just one that displays the name in a bold way.

I like badge logos, but the design doesn't have to be fully contained within a shape, whatever looks more impactful is best.

Must have

• Bold and intriguing design, some color.
• Artistic, unique feel.
• Cohesive design, good for a sticker, hat, poster, or any other merchandise.

Nice to have

• The full name of Dread Champion is preferred, although the acronym of DRCH in a good design would be acceptable as well.
• Anything that is drawn instead of just a typeface with a clipart.

Should not have

• It should not say 'DC' in any way, because that is already a brand!
• It shouldn't be just a generic font and clipart.
• Religious symbols, musical symbols. (Anything not directly related to the feeling the music gives. The music delivers the message, the logo gives an idea of the feeling the music gives.)
