Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for my company that I am starting up independently based in East London called 'Threaded by Vicky' (tbv). A reliable, uniquely personal and creative alterations & repair service, Threaded by Vicky is passionate about promoting sustainable, affordable clothing for all.

Specialising in customising Vintage clothing, I also enhance everyday and office wear at competitive rates.

Alongside this, freelancing Costume Design/Styling service is offered for theatre, music videos & festivals as well as to individuals alike.

The final design should communicate my ‘make-do-and-mend’ philosophy. It should reflect the feel of vintage with a modern twist. I've attached a sketch idea of how I see the logo. A line of stitching in a circle with the threaded needle incorporated as the 't' in tbv. The rest of the thread to create the 'bv'. As the website design is underway, I would like the logo to fit with the colour scheme (attached file). Therefore, logo colours of black, white and neutrals would be preferable. Please note within business cards the logo will be placed on different coloured backgrounds.

• Thread stitched through the edge of the circular emblem
  Vintage, sketchy feel to it with a modern edge
  Thread coming out of needle in a free loose way

• The design should not use old stiff fonts or images.
