Logo Design Brief

I am looking to have a logo designed for a new apartment complex being built in Thomasville, Georgia. I'd like a logo that is very classic and professional to fit well with its location in South Georgia.
Thomasville has a strong, southern, genteel culture - they are proud of their history and traditions. There are many hunting plantations in the area. The community is sensitive to its look, feel, southern. Some important things to them are their Annual Rose Festival and the Big Oak.
