T-shirt Design Brief

We need a t-shirt design for the front or our shirts that we will be giving away for a marketing effort. We sell shirts and donate a percentage of the revenue to non-profits like planned parenthood or green peace. We want a very cerebral type of design, (you are encouraged to go out on a limb) that compares/contrasts, showcases the similarities of the republican and democratic parties in an intense visual or something that visualizes the fact that we are all earthlings. We cannot stress how much artistic freedom is encouraged, we really want these shirts to catch peoples attention and to make a bold statement about the ridiculousness of bipartisanship.
some ideas to get started:
elephant/donkey mutant, earthlings, What is moderation?, What if there was no war(between reps and dems)?, humans as a virus on earth, etc.
