Logo Design Brief

Need a logo for Gargoyle's Gift Shop, the official store for the Telluride Horror Show, a 3-day genre film festival in Telluride, Colorado. Gargoyle's Gift Shop sells not only official festival merchandise but horror themed toys and collectibles as well. We chose the name Gargoyle's Gift Shop because, during our film festival, we have life-size gargoyles at our theaters. Our "mascot" gargoyle is easily recognized by our attendees. I've attached photos of this gargoyle as we would like the logo to draw inspiration from him - perhaps including an illustration of this gargoyle within the logo itself. Thinking we'd like the logo to have an illustrated look. Hopefully the attached photos of the gargoyle will give inspiration. Need to include the store name as part of the logo.

Requirements

Must have

• The name of the shop as part of the logo. We will definitely consider full-color logos, but would also like this logo to look just as good in black and white (or grayscale).

Should not have

• While we sell horror-themed merchandise, we don't rwant a logo that looks Halloweeny...please no "spooky looking" text or any of that. Important that it doesn't have a Halloween look (despite having a gargoyle in it). We also want to avoid a medieval look.
