Logo Design Brief
We are looking for a cleaner, sleeker, more modern design for our youth travel baseball organization (ages 8-12). Our colors are royal blue and gold, and the team nickname is "Scouts." Our existing logo is a bit messy and somewhat cartoonish (upper left corner of http://www.lfba.net).
Our "big brother" organization has their own logo at: http://www.scoutsbaseball.com, and the high school has their own as well: http://www.lfhs.org/athletics/boys/baseball/, and this design must be different.
The design may want to incorporate the interlocking L and F (Varsity font is the existing look), used on our hats and helmets. It does not have to have "Lake Forest Baseball Association" (it could), or "Scouts" (it could). Some versions of the LF used by other organizations incorporate a "spear" locking the L and F.
The design should only include two colors (open white space is acceptable). Possibly incorporating two crossed bats, paying homage to the historical Scouts crossed arrows.
