My husband and I are sheep farmers from a small town in Western Australia called Capel. We are looking to start an online business selling our lamb direct to consumers.
We want to brand our lamb "Stirling Estate Lamb". Stirling Estate is where our farm is located.
The Dunkley family have been running the farm continuously since 1904.
We want our logo to reflect the premium nature of product our product, that is grass fed, pesticide free lamb.
We think that using "Stirling" in the logo will assist to convey a sense of prestige and quality that is relfected in our product.
If possible we would like to envoke a visual sense of 'history" in our logo, by including our farm "established" date of 1904.
The logo will be used on website, business cards and packaging.
We would like one of the logos presented to reflect a version of the old fashioned "butchers stamp" (see example attached). We see this type of design as a versatile image that would work on website, packaging, business card etc without any alterations.
Please note, we are have an open mind for all styles and designs. So please present alternative designs to this one.
Target Market(s)
- middle to high income people happy to pay premium for quality produce.
- people who have a willingness to support local farmers
- people who support the paddock to plate mentality - from farmer direct to your plate
