Logo Design Brief
We are a locksmith company specialized in carkeys. We have been in business for about 20 years. We are now starting a new company - Autoschlüssel Luke - at a new location. There we can help customers with both modern carkeys and keys for classic cars. Autoschlüssel is German for carkey.
We need a new logo. We are looking for a modern and colourful logo that is a joy to see. We are thinking of a graphic design with the text "Autoschlüssel Luke" next to it. Selecting a distinctive font is part of the project. The graphic design can be anything, the two basic requirements are that 1. it should be related to carkeys and 2. it should interesting to look at.
Obviously the design should be more technical-looking, rather than organic/feminine. Sophisticated and reliable are also qualities that we like. The graphic design does not necessarily need to be a combination of a key and a car, because the text Autoschlüssel Luke already makes it clear that it concerns carkeys. We are not against integrating the word LUKE in the graphic design.
We are also selling to Dutch and international customers. So we need another two versions: with "Autosleutel Luke" and with "Carkey Luke" next to it.
A little history of carkeys. In the beginning there were all metal carkeys. Then came keys with plastic heads, that could contain a transponderchip and a remote control. These keys have a blade that is cut on both sides. Next came flipkeys, where the blade can be folded into the housing. Finally there are keyfobs that allow you to start the car without the use of the keyblade.
I have added some logo's that I rather like, for reference.
On our website you can see modern carkeys: https://www.keyprof.com/en.Product-Behuizing.php
Update 2 May: none of the designs submitted so far are interesting to look at while also giving the impression of a professional locksmith company. We have decided for a design we could more easily say yes to.
We are looking for a design based on the image of our master locksmith Luke. Here is the photo: https://www.keyprof.com/share/LukeLubbers.jpg The design should be very recognizable for those that know Luke. Keep the cap and tassle. The key on the cap you can remove. To the right of the rendering there could be "Autoschlüssel LUKE" on two lines.
Thank you,
Louis.
