Logo Design Brief

A brief description of us:
Our company, Dance Boulevard is a ballroom dance studio which provides partner dancing in a fun and social environment.
We are the largest studio in the South Bay with over 10,000 sq feet of dance floor space.
We provide private lessons, group classes and dance parties.
We want our logo to feature the letters DB which stands for Dance Boulevard. The reason is so the people who know our company Dance Boulevard can refer to us in a simpler form as "DB" rather than the whole word "Dance Boulevard." Although the DB is featured, we still would like the word "Dance Boulevard" in the logo in smaller letters.
I really like to catchy logo ideas which I have uploaded and would like ours to have something similar.
We would like the logo to stand out as a cool, strong but elegant feel as other dancers will notice it a dance competitions.
We would like to colors to be black and white which represents an elegant feel with a modern look.
The design should look simple.

• I would like to stay away from the typical man and lady in other ballroom dance logos.
