Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for our historical society. We are based in Cornelia, Georgia, but we represent the entire county (Habersham County). The name of our organlzation is Habersham Education & Research.

Our organization collects photos, videos, documents, and stories about the history of the county and we want a logo for use on our web site, business cards, letterhead, etc.

We thought about incorporating something with an open book to represent the research, but PLEASE don't limit yourself to that idea. We'd love to see whatever you come up with.

We like an oval, or enlongated shape to give us more of a presence on our printed materials and web presence.

We are looking for an elegant font.

As a reference, we have attached a Word document that contains an overview of our county along with some photos of local landmarks. We thought it would be nice to incorporate one of the landmarks into the logo, but again don't limit yourself to that concept.

In the Word document, we put in a number of logos that are appealing to us.

We'd like our organization name to be in the logo.

Finally, we'd like the tagline to read "Preserving the history of Habersham"
