Logo Design Brief

Our Investment Holding company is changing its name to Redstone and needs a new logo design. The main logo should be one word “Redstone”.

Style: Classic, timeless, serious - with modern twist. Creates mental associations with other successful private equity firms/real estate holdings

Logo should be amendable to include sub-businesses e.g. Redstone Estate, Redstone Healthcare etc. therefore should be adaptable to have space below the main.

The logo can additionally have a diagram next to the name in the shape of an arrow or pyramid pointing up to show fast growth and scalability. Half of the symbol can be imagined as a wall (e.g. brick wall- red stone association, real estate symbol) – something to symbolize stability through interrelations, helping each other etc.
The other side of the symbol can be an artistic representation of the Moscow kremlin (or some Moscow/Russia symbol). However, it should be done in a way, that it’s not immediately recognizable as a Russian structure.

Requirements

Must have

• Space to add a word underneath the logo so it can be customised later (Redstone Fund II", "Redstone Capital", "Redstone Property".
• Must be classic, classy, but with a touch of modern, but not a puffy, "cool" logo for millennials... ; ) Should imply feelings of security, tradition, class, sensibility, but with a touch of modern/cool.

Nice to have

• I think the font for Redstone should be a serif font for class- but this is not essential. The word underneath maybe doesn't need to be.
