Logo Design Brief

We need our current logo to be refreshed and brought into the 21st century. We want to retain elements of our logo so we do not lose our identifiable brand. The images inside the crest need to be updated (lion representing UK, falcon representing the UAE). The colors used need to be tweaked subtlety, the font needs changing. Maybe the ribbon should go.
We want our parents and students to look at the new logo and be able to recognise this is The English College, Dubai. A school which offers a British curriculum in Dubai that offers excellent academic results whilst developing a well rounded young person. We pride ourselves in providing exemplary pastoral care and guidance to young people. We will need some brand guidelines to help us to use the logo properly (an example of some brand guidelines and the current logo have been attached).
