Logo Design Brief

We are - the wholesaler, we only sell the fabrics.
Our company do not produce textile products, we do not sew any textiles products - thats very important.

Please carefully read this brief, taking into account such items as: Target Market, Must Have Prioritis, Nice to Have Prioritis, Should not Have, Images, sketches or documents.

- imitation fabric in the logo is not required if the symbol does not argue with the our direction

- In attach you can find logo. well, this logo is good example. but these example should not be taken literally
"coffee to go" reflects the sense - grab a coffee and go (in global sense).
our logo must show. 1 or 2 mutually exclusive points:

1) the sale of fabrics, the wholesales fabrics.

2) logo may be not directly connected with the fabric and wholesale, but logo has to be memorable and vivid. Good example of this, you can find in atach (apple company - the company is not connected in any way with apples or fruit)

- we thinking about change the company name, now its not important,
lets get the name "Example Fabrics"

I decided a took care that what would cause the most clear understanding of the symbol that i need.

So here is my example.
The company logo "Britton" you can see on the official site http://www.brittongroup.com/ in the upper left corner.

What's good in this logo ? (in my opinion)

- This logo is very good shows the essence of company production ( production of polyethylene and other polymers produced by inflating device in the shape of the bulb) .

Logo is symbolic and concise , simple and beautiful, a great combination of colors . Lots of smooth lines , the correct contrast - all is wonderful (in my opinion)

As good in this logo, symbol shows production of polyethylene, our symbol must is good too should showing our business (fabrics wholesale)

Important! - Not need to have a lot in common (in terms of drawing) with example logo.
In other words - This example should not be taken literally.

And once again - What I would like to show this example?

-dimensions of the symbol (not very large, not very small, not wide, not tall, not made ​​up of thin lines, not some one large rectangle)

-The ability to use the symbol without the text and its recognition without text.

I hope that the above example will help you and me to save time and to develop the necessary logo.

Good day!

Thanks to all who provide , and sends their designs! 

This is good and maybe awesome works ! But we need something other, so far, all the work are different from the direction that we need . 

Please see our breef, maybe you have missed some important points.. I repeat most important point -  we b2b company, we are wholesalers, most of the designers sent a very beautiful work that are oriented towards the retail shops or something similar .

We still do not have most favorite logo , although each day we see more and more very very many pretty designs, and all designers have the potential to win, but so we have problem - what to choose? we dont know, so far ..

I hope to see all of my update and my example will help everyone. I'm looking forward to the implementation of new ideas symbol logo. There are still some good options under consideration , but there is nothing really close to the final. A lot of good fonts , lots of beautiful logos, but not our only one that we are looking for that suits us...

03.11.2013 mportant update about colors of logo symbol.

logo should not contain a lot of basic colors. basic logo colors is 2-3 some colors. But that does not mean that the multi-colored logos are canceled, they just may have additional variations of coloring.

Reason: Hello everyone! In a vote of the focus groups we have no unequivocal opinion, there is no logo that would have won by a wide margin. Therefore we appeal to all project participants. So we dont have a winner, and we expect to all new ideas according to our brief and truly hope to get a good logo. Nice to have

• - Some rainbow colors, cheerfully, positive colors
  - Smooth lines or some likely

Should not have

• - Final logo should not cause associations expensive or very cheap.
  - The style does not have to be joking or playing
  - Symbol should not be difficult
