Logo Design Brief

We are a child and family focused therapy group with a tagline to develop healthy minds and improve relationships. We have a current logo that represents the "connection" of people/families, has the colors we would like to use, and a subtle reference to autism with the puzzle pieces which is a specialty of our group. The project is to "redesign" or somehow incorporate these ideas and concepts into a more professional, polished, designed logo.

Please look at current logo files attached. I really like this logo but want to make it look more custom/designed.
