Logo Design Brief
Please do not send a design if you cant read through the description below-
We are acquiring a cafe in Kingston Ontario which will come under a new branding from April 1st. Currently the cafe is called "Coffeeco" ( coffee eco) and has been in business for the past 6 years. Coffeeco serves organic freshly roasted coffee and local food products and also has a bakery and sandwich section.
The new cafe will be called Kingston Coffee House. We want the logo to evoke the same response and feelings that they currently harbour for coffeeco. One of the prime objectives is to make the customer feel familiar and at ease with the new branding.
Our customers are very loyal. the age range is towards the higher end 20-75. People know each other by names and faces hence the name Kingston coffee house to make it a more community oriented cafe.
The old logo, storefront and some other pictures are attached. We want organic, earthy tones. Colors should have black, browns, greens but do not be afraid to try out other colors.
Very Imp- The logo should be of a smaller footprint ( think lesser square footage ) as its a long name and has to be made into a store sign. Again, having a uniquely representative logo as well as the words would help as we can then use the full design on the store front and just the logo elsewhere for branding. We will be stamping the cups with the logo.
