Web Design Brief

RootsFinder (http://www.rootsfinder.com) is a new genealogy website. We would like a fresh home page. We provide innovative tools for the serious genealogist in a Facebook-like environment. The tagline is “Easy to research. Easy to share.” The page must convey both the research and sharing aspects of the product and benefits such as:
• Modern
• Intuitive
• Easy
• Free
• Fast (Save 90% data entry time)
• Integrate with FamilySearch
• Control your tree; nobody can edit without your permission
Our target audience is women age 30-60. Please examine our current home page at RootsFinder.com. You will be creating a revised homepage that appeals to this demographic. Feel free to use any part of the existing page. You may use any of the materials provided, but you are not required to use everything.
You may use other images as long as you have the copyright or it is public domain. For instance, you could show an image of a woman, teenager, or young adult enjoying an iphone or tablet, a civil war soldier, a wagon train, etc.
Please stay with the Material Design style (Use Roboto font and other guidelines from https://material.io/guidelines/material-design/introduction.html) and our color palette (brand guidelines included).
We would like the following elements:
• Header (must keep login link in upper right corner)
• Primary call to action (Currently “Get started”)
• Section about “Easy to Research” with link to read more
• Section about “Easy to Share” with link to read more
• Section about FamilySearch integration with link to read more
Optional:
• Heather's Story (video)
• Links to demo trees and pages for Donald Trump and/or George Clooney
• Pricing section – please include and do not change
• Footer with the same links it now has.

The homepage must be responsive so it can be viewed on mobile phones and tablets.

Here are some examples of homepages we like:
