Logo Design Brief
I am a 53 year old Texas lawyer. I've been practicing law for almost 30 years. I've decided to seek public office. Specifically, I will be running for Chief Justice of the 13th Court of Appeals. This appellate court covers a 20 county area from South Texas up the gulf coast almost to Houston. The voters in this area are demographically and socio-economically diverse. Evenly split between Democrats and Republicans.
The election will take place in 2018, but the campaign starts now.
I'm just starting my campaign, so the first thing I need is a great campaign logo. I am looking for something catchy and memorable.
Traditional colors include red, white and/or blue, but I am open to any other colors.
The design may allow space for photo. The photo is attached. Don't have to use full body. Use any part of photo. Will all consider logos without photo.

- I'm looking for a political campaign logo. The idea is for my name to stand out among all the other political campaign signs that will be out there. "Elect" is not the word I want people to recall when they see my campaign sign.
- Initials, acronyms are not appropriate in a campaign sign,
- Sleek designs that would be excellent for a professional office logo, including those that use shades and slight color variations with low contrast, like greys, will not work for this purpose.
