Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new company based in Mexico City. The company is called "Nuup" and will be operating through an app. The app will be an educational app, and the name of the company is mayan, meaning "connect". So we need our logo to express its Mexican roots, show that its educational and resembles the word connect.
We've been thinking about a brain for the logo, either an empty original one, or one with a mayan, aztec, or Mexican print on it. Another idea we have is for to brains to be communicating with each other, either with a pulse, synapse, or arrows. It doesn't necessarily have to be a brain, just the idea we have.
I have attached to drawings, so you can see what we thought off, obviously they are not well though out nor drawn.
Our Slogan is "Conéctate" maybe you could show us a design with the slogan underneath our name "Nuup", like shown in the picture
