Logo Design Brief

I would like a new company logo made that has a old style of design, company name is Modern Connectivity, and it is a preference that this would be incorporated into the logo in some way. Would prefer modern twist in the design of the logo, giving impression we would with old school values, but with a modern range of products. It would be good if the logo could have a simple design that is easy to relate to more because of a non over the top design. There does not need to be too much colour in the design.
