We need to illustrate the front cover of a hospital magazine in Singapore. The medical group is building a new hospital, and as part of their hospital planning, used modular cardboards to simulate hospital operations with all staff.
The cardboards are used as mock-ups for key facilities, which aids in the design of registration counters, wall partitions, blood-taking stations, etc. Through the scenarios, teams were able to walk through and take notes on planned distance and distribution of space. It looks almost like a "cardboard city".
The illustration therefore, needs to show interaction between people mock-up cardboards (that form spaces, registration counters, pathways, etc). It needs to be imaginative, and evokes curiosity. Our message is simple: The hospital is very mindful of how they treat patients, and as such, "mindfulness" as a brand value, cuts through all aspects of hospital services.
