Logo Design Brief

This team investigates all serious drug and property related crime including robberies. Highly mobile and tactical teams located in Central Australia. The teams can be asked to respond to an area in excess of 500,000 square kilometres. Highly proactive teams engaged in youth offending and adults covering a cross border region. The teams conduct forced entry searches and extraditions from all areas of Australia. They often combine resources within the group to achieve outcomes. There are numerous situations where the members of these teams have to think outside the box in order to achieve results in keeping people safe. The moto of the Northern Territory Police Force is 'Protect & Serve'. This group is the 'go to' area. If something is needed to be done or a resolution achieved, this is the group / team that management goes to in order to ensure the job is done properly and the offenders are caught. Many extra hours are put in by this group away from friends and family. They are a highly motivated and dedicated team of people who come from a diverse background. The team is skilled at working with all peoples but especially indigenous youth... the drug teams are focussed on the importation of Ice (methamphetamine) into the region from other states. They utilise informants and all avenues at their disposal to identify criminal elements in the community and arrest them and remove dangerous drugs from the streets. The teams also liaise with victims of crime and display compassion empathy and attempt to assist those people who have had their homes and businesses violated to feel safe again. They have a difficult job but work hard to ensure the community is able to have faith in their police force and feel safe and secure in the community in which they live.
