Logo Design Brief

I am one year into work as an independent consultant. I am looking to grow my business even more and broaden my client base so I need a logo design to build a brand for myself. I work mainly with urban public school districts and non-profits that focus on improving public education for underserved students. I would like for the design to fit with my work, coordinate to some degree with the website I have under construction (www.jimsfurman.com), and use the name Elevated Teaching. I would like for the design to somehow communicate improvement, wisdom, and/or empowerment. Would love it to use black, grey, red, blue, and/or yellow.
