Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new company based on the edge of the Central Business District of Melbourne Australia. We are a digital hub supporting digital start ups from co-location, incubator and VC Funding services.

Based in Footscray Melbourne and overlooking the Melbourne CBD we feel we have many advantages as our suburb is a little edgy with creative people with an appetite to improve their lives but without getting stuck in the daily grind of inner city traffic.

Melbourne has a thriving digital start up community but there is a gap in support for digital startups in the western suburbs.

Our logo should support this edgy attitude and could even perhaps feature an outline/silhouette of the city skyline within the logo or the logo could be inspired by the crazy sports, AFL or coffee culture of melbourne but hey please give us your ideas on logo design as we are open to something edgy and really cool!

Our current tag line is "Western Edge Digital Hub, the place to give your startup the edge!"

We see that the words Western Edge are definitely contained with the logo and if it looks right then "Digital Hub" can also be in the logo but would be a smaller font if you decided that it should be included in the logo.
