Logo Design Brief

We need a custom logo and favicon creating for a new handmade jewellery store. The logo needs to be suitable for a website and also for print. Ideally, the logo should have a transparent background. The name of the company is Smidden.

Attached is a picture of print blocks which illustrate how we would like the logo to appear. As these are print blocks the letters are in reverse and there is a spelling mistake (due to a missing letter). As the company is producing unconventional jewellery the logo should also be unconventional for this market segment, we're looking for something a little more bold. The attached illustration should not restrict you, but is intended to help convey the look and feel we would like.

The target gender for the company are women, so we have pre-chosen some colours which we believe would be suitable. We however are not limited to these colours.

The logo will be used on a website which is very clean looking and has white throughout the design. The website is not yet live, however it was a purchased theme and can be viewed online at the following URL:

In addition to the logo we do need a favicon to be created and would be extremely useful if this could be included.
