Judo NSW needs designs for its membership cards which will be based on the Judo rank of the members; black belt and non black belt.

Judo NSW is a not-for-profit organisation set up to support the sport of Judo. Judo is an inexpensive, safe, dynamic contact sport, which is suitable for boys and girls, men and women.

Judo NSW is the State Sporting Organisation governing the sport of Judo in NSW and is supported by the Australian Sports Commission and NSW Department of Sport & Recreation
Our mission is to be the leading state judo organisation in terms of membership, participation and achievement in all areas of the sport and its administration.

Existing Members

The Membership card should be a physical reminder to members that they are a part of something. The design of the card physically attractive so that the existing member can have a sense of pride carrying it around in his wallet. For some members, carrying a membership card is a status symbol and a way for them to show their pride of belonging to a specific group.

New Members

One of the objectives of Judo NSW is to Promote and market Judo as the Sport, Fitness and Physical Activity of choice amongst NSW residents. We are looking to attract more judo players everyday, the membership card can be used as an added marketing tool.

Kids aged 5-18

This demographic should also be considered for designs as this TA will also be holding membership cards.

  • Differentiate Members based on Level
  • Cards can be used to easily identify each membership level which in this case are two; Black Belt and Non-Black Belt. A change in color or design can make each level stand out.
  • Data Gathering
  • When using a membership card with a barcode, we as an organisation can gather data each time the member uses it to gain entry to a club or enter a competition The barcode can be. The data we collect can help us determine whether or not a a certain marketing activity should be continued and it can also help you craft our marketing message to target potential member’s interests.
