Logo Design Brief
We'd like a new logo for our business: The Midwinter Gift Company.
We are a unique company that puts together luxury gifts sets for Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Father's Day. The gifts (including handmade leather goods, clocks, soaps, silverware,) come from other independent UK based companies. We donate 20% of our profits to charity - this is our key philosophy and driving force!
The logo will be foil printed onto packaging as well as being on our business cards, social media sites and website.
While displaying the full name is preferable, simple initials or lettering such as 'MW' or 'MWGC' would be acceptable.
Our basic idea is displayed in the attached PDF and we would like to see a few reworks of it, however completely new designs are equally as welcome.
The other two images are inspirations that we really like.

Must have
- Either the full name, The Midwinter Gift Company, or simple lettering such as 'MW'. The full name is preferable but we are willing to go without for the sake of good design!
Nice to have
- We would prefer a more organic shape to rigid or bold lines. It would be nice to have the letters/name encased within a shape/emblem, but we would welcome designs showing the name below if it looks good within your design and the two blend together.
Should not have
- Cartoon styles, garish colours, 'bubble' writing. Nothing too decorative.
