Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a new company that centres on football development. The primary service is coaching and delivering mentor program's for football(soccer) players. I would like the design to be very simple and even potentially use the acronym of Centre of development (COD)The target market is delivering coaching sessions to ages 6-18 years.The colour to be used I like is a mid-blue as per below with black text to bring put the design.
Also would like this to look very neat and sharp design as per below that could be used on a shirt or jersey and look sharp.

Requirements

Must have

• Not 100% on a soccer ball in the logo but may provide an insight into the business. As per the examples I want something sharp that does not look just for kids and will last test of time. Any of the blue colours below will work with text and potentially some white to balance etc.

Nice to have

• No preference on this, again happy to guide and find sharp mix with minimal text.

Should not have

• To much writing and overkill with text.
• Neat and sharp only
