Logo Design Brief
I am a sommelier (wine stewardess) starting up a new wine school concept in blog format and on social media. Actually - it’s not a school – but more like a place for ordinary people to get inspired and be more creative with their wine. I’m targeting people that are lacking the confidence to step out of their comfort zone. I want to offer the basic skills that put them in the driver seat and I want to inspire them to try something they normally wouldn’t. And, most importantly, I want to generate a curious mindset amongst my followers.
I find that most written stuff regarding wine is detailed and often includes pretentious descriptions of the characteristics of wine and the conditions that contribute to them. Often, lingo is used which alienates ordinary consumers of wine. I want to offer accessible, educational and passionate knowledge that inspires new experiences. Followers of “Vinpop” will receive easy-to-read knowledge on wine every week on Facebook, Instagram and on my blog. I also offer wine tastings, both for private groups and as a drop-in concept.
As I see it, no one should feel the need to excuse himself or herself for not knowing enough about wine. If you are curious and want to learn more, hopefully I (Vinpop) can help! Wine is, and should be, a pleasure for everyone.
I’m currently working as a consultant in the banking industry. From now on, I would like to spend more time working with my big passion, wine, and I hope you’d like to help me along the way. In order to realize my dream, I need to start out by producing a logo for Vinpop – and here’s where I need your help. “Vinpop” is merge of the word vin (wine in Swedish) and pop (as in popular science).
