I like the app Headspace and their simplistic yet sophisticated design and color scheme. Another path I really like is the simple design of Psychotactics.com. My own company San Jose Barbell also has a very clean and uncluttered design and logo.
The logo for this new company is going to involve a guava. The colors are going to be white, guava green, guava pink.
The logo doesn't need to say anything in and of itself. It could be incorporated just next to it like the San Jose barbell is next to the hippo logo. The font should also be very simple and clean.
