Logo Design Brief

We want a logo design/app icon for a beauty booking service app, for both men and women.

We have some ideas, but would love to get creative input from graphic designers with a marketing mind. Here are some of the ideas we have been brainstorming:
- We thought of the word "MOI" written out, but out of the M or I - a pointing finger would appear pointing towards the word. The hand would be integrated in the word, and the pointing towards the word implying pointing towards themselves. (The word "MOI" is french, meaning "me")
- Second idea was to use an animal, maybe just the contour or shadow of one. Monkeys are specifically known for grooming each other, so we thought it would be the right animal to go with. Either just two monkeys grooming themselves as the app icon and for the logo MOI written nicely. Or the monkeys could also be the letters, so that would be the actual logo.
- A third idea is a person holding up a mirror, but it should apply to men and women.
- The original idea was to just keep it clean and simple, with the word "MOI" written in cursive, or in a cool way.

As for colors our choice for the background is purple, with a gradient light effect. Out of marketing study for colors, purple seem to be the most appropriate. For a purple background, we also saw that white or light grey would be the best alternative. If you have thought about going in another direction, please feel free to do so. However, we personally think this is the direction we want to go regarding colors. We have attached a document showing inspiration for background color, but feel free to create something else that applies.

We want to see creative ideas for logo either with one of our ideas, or if you think that you have a better idea please specify why and show us. We want you to have fun with this!

Keep in mind that this company is a smart phone app which applies for both men and women, and the purpose is to provide an app that will allow booking in salon appointments, barbershops, makeup, and nail services. The app provide a on-demand service for instant bookings or for advanced booking.
