Logo Design Brief

Our company is based in Western Australia/Perth and Solingen in Germany. Its a family business that is selling quality handmade kitchen German knives in the Australian market without the hefty price tag.

Our logo should mirror what we would like to represent with our product/service; quality, simplicity, modern, cool and a personal touch.
Although we won't be competing with the top end knive-barnds in the market, we are still selling top quality and therefore would like to stay away from any corny or too fun orientated designs.
We would require a standout, eye-catching but also modern and simple Font for our logo.
McK is the main part of the logo that could incorporate an image merged with the text but could also be a strong font only.

The logo (used for a website, email signature or header) could also say
McK's Knives
A cut above the rest!
The logo must also fit on various different knive blades (varying from 9-20cm).

The company is called McK's Knives but on our forged knives it can only say:

Handmande in Solingen/ Germany

and on our stanzed knives
