Logo Design Brief

We have an existing logo that we have been using for 9 years. We sort of just used some free font to design it last time and paid $50 for it. We are a drum school in singapore with 4 locations and a population of 650 students. I thought it would be fitting to re-design our logo given that it will be our 10th anniversary in 2017. We would like to keep the color black, orange, white. And if possible still have some nice meaning to it. We are not looking at a 180-degree change, but something that our customers will look and still recognise our logo. We are actually keen of having a 2 part logo. Left side is a square logo (which we can use on social media, and thumnails) and the right side is the "My Drum School" text. I have uploaded our existing logo and the square version that we did. Requirements

• Must be recognisable from the existing logo that we have.
• Must have a two part to it. Left side is a square logo (which we can use on social media, and thumnails) and the right side is the "My Drum School" text.
• Must be existing color tone of existing logo.

Nice to have

• Nice to have a fresh and simple look.
• Nice to have something meaningful like a drummer inside?

Should not have

• Should not be child-like or too playful.
