Logo Design Brief

The name of our new company is Red Sea Catechetics. We will be developing religous education materials for children, teens, and eventually adults, so even though we are starting in the children's markets, the logo must be appropriate for all three markets. We will develop product logos as we develop each new product.

We would like a symbolic/abstract representation of the Red Sea being parted with an abstract symbol of the sun in the background. But a simple symbolic representation of sea and sun might work well too (without the parting).

We would like the words "a new approach to catechesis" as part of the logo unless it would make it look too heavy or tacky.

Let's start here, and then we will provide background info on the first product logo, which will be for second graders and will probably need lots of primary colors. So the company logo will have to work well with our first product logo which will have primary colors in it. Then we can work on the stationery, businesss cards, promotional materials and actual curriculum materials and packaging.
