Logo Design Brief

We need a new logo for a 40 year old property management company called B&L Management. It's a family owned residential construction and property management company that has built mid-level buildings in Manhattan.

Our residents find us because of our value in the marketplace. We offer nice, clean apartments to rent for reasonable prices. No major amenities, not luxury housing. However, for our new branding, we are trying to convey a high-tech offering with the latest online services such as online rent payment, resident portal, online maintenance requests, online leasing, etc.

We are also looking to diversify into a family of companies that will be related such as a management company, a construction company, a leasing company, etc. The logo and typography should be setup so that it can be part of a family of similar logos down the line. Examples:

Current logo is attached. We'd like a new icon as well as new typography.

Target Market(s)

There are two targets. There is a B2B component as we will be selling 3rd party management services to property owners. There is a B2C component as we are managing apartments that consumers (residents) will be living in and we want to attract them as well.
