Logo Design Brief

Need a logo design for City of Lafayette's Great Outdoors Waterpark. The existing aging outdoor aquatics facility will be undergoing major renovations, which will have an outdoor theme to promote activity outside and engaging with nature. Many of the new design elements will include wood sculpture art as well as sustainable energy components. We hope to bring kids and families to a park that will have a more rustic lodge feel, with wood playing a prominent role in the design features. The municipality of 26,000 has current color scheme of green, blue and purple though this design doesn't need to be restricted to that. Preliminary logo attached, though the new design doesn't have to relate to this preliminary logo in any way, shape or form. The final design should convey a message of excitement, nature, energy and renewed growth.
