We need a logo design for our celtic-based dance school that contains elements of tradition but with a new, modern take. The company, UnReel Dance, takes elements of traditional Irish, Highland and Celtic Step Dancing and combines them in new and exciting ways specifically for the purpose of performance. We want our logo to reflect this, with particular focus on the celtic aspect and not on any one specific type of dance or culture. The final design should be a generic dance school logo that reads celtic. We would also like a stylized shortened version (be it a graphic or an acronym) that could be printed on the sleeve of a jacket rather than using the full logo for this purpose.
Target Market(s)
Traditional, competitive dancers (and their parents) who are interested in adding a performance-focussed component to their dance training. So the logo must be unique, interesting and creative enough to catch their eye in a sea of other dance school logos.

Requirements
Must have
- A celtic feel. A "reel" is a specific type of tune and dance so the text itself is already telling part of the story. The "un" is trying to impart that we are "undoing" the traditional and putting it back together in a creative way. A Reel is a dance done in a figure-of-eight (infinity) pattern, so perhaps this can be worked into the logo. Please no shamrocks or items specific to Irish culture.
Should not have
- Celtic crosses or pictures/silouettes of dancers.
