I am starting a fishing guiding business that will initially focus on river fly fishing for trout, but then will expand to ocean salmon fishing. The company will be in New Zealand for part of the year, then in Canada for the remainder, so I am looking for a catchy abstract or perhaps native/first nation/Maori type design for the logo that could have some native tones to it. The name of the business will be "FishNTales Outfitters" - I would like 'Fish N Tales' to be part of the logo, then have Outfitters kind of written underneath. the company slogan will be "wise in the ways of the finned ones". I want a logo and text that can each stand alone so that I can brand it and then use the logo on merchandise without the text. I would like the use of very professional fonts and some color in it as well. I prefer a more realistic fish than a cartoon one.
Target Market(s)
Fishing enthusiasts that are willing to pay top dollar for a professional guiding service. Generally these will be aged 45-60, fit, higher income earners traveling to NZ or Canada specifically to fish. They may also be traveling for other reasons but wanting to participate in fishing as part of the overall vacation.

Requirements
Must have
- A 'stand alone' logo that is not an acronym that looks professional and gets the message across by itself. This may be drawn out of the overall logo which would be integrated with the text and may or may not include the subscript. Any fish should look like a trout or a salmon.
Nice to have
- Some good use of color. A native/Maori or abstract design or color scheme.
Should not have
- Cartoon lettering. Anything that looks 'fake' or childish.
