Logo Design Brief

I need a logo which is artistic with an illustrative quality and would appeal to children and parents. It's an Art school for primary aged kids. I then will take this logo for a future business card, banner, Facebook advertising, a website and flyer. Hoping this business will become a franchise across Australia in locations which don't have the Visual Arts in their schools. I quite like a black and white illustration with a splash of colour featuring both a boy and girl making some Art. (Very open to other suggestions too!) Cheers!
