Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a merger of two companies based in NYC. We provide design build as well as engineering services to the construction sector. We have four core trades we focus on, which is what the "MEPF" stands for in our name.
M = Mechanical (ventilation, air conditioning, heating)
E = Electrical (electrical systems, fire alarms, generators, controls)
P = Plumbing (waste, water, gas)
F = Fire protection (sprinkler systems)

We are looking for a vintage retro design that reflects our long history, stability, strength, quality, and expertise.
