the first son is called "slow Dancing with Nina Simone" I'm looking for an art deco style cover with a woman slow dancing in a stark room while talking on the phone. Stylized image, low on details but gives the impression of loneliness and longing. Bold colours black yellow and red on a terracotta background. Moonlight streaming through a window in the background of the room.
Updates
Hi Cordelia, Yes I need to add my comments and credits so Ill do that now and I do need to speak to the singers X 3 to get their specific details. Is there a way I can either send the other stakeholders in the project a copy of what we have? or Once the project is finalised can I add script before production of the actual cover to tweak details?
First the image. I really like what you have done with the girl. My thoughts about fuzzing her out a bit are; the splatter does not quite look right it would be better if she had little white and light blue starbursts surrounding her, something like an aura, very fine grained and as if its glowing a bit! Sorry to mess you about with this final detail but I think it will make all the difference.
My Credits: also on the inside above the producers comments but in bigger script, "All songs written by Joseph P Riordan". Email: music@jrap.com.au
On the inside left from the top of the page spaced for symmetry
A word from Joseph
"For me its always been about the voice! These three vocalists convey Power, Vulnerability and just plane Joy to convey the message of the songs. The unique gift of translating words into emotions in song is ancient and primal and lies at the heart of human communication, it binds and connects us. The voice carries the phrases of melody that hold the ear, that roll around in our minds, that move our bodies and compels us to stop and listen. Its the voice that keeps us coming back to the song for more of that thing, a time, a place, a face, a kind or stirring word and the emotions that link us to that moment. That's why "the Singer Makes the Song"
If I have space I might make short comments about each of the songs. J
