God wants to speak to each of us through the Bible. Many people are intimidated by the Bible and the idea of studying the Bible can be intimidating. This app makes study simple by using simple markings and journalist questions—the 5 W’s and H (who, what, where, when, why and how) to make finding God’s message in every verse of the Bible clear.

The Key benefit of using this app is that users will meet with God directly through His book the Bible on a daily basis. When we meet with God, He changes us from the inside out so that we experience His power over our struggles and His joy in all of our circumstances. We experience God and He satisfies us.

Our team is launching three apps simultaneously--all benefits-driven (or “What's in it for me?”-driven) to reach people who want to be able to get God's message to them from the Bible in just a few minutes each day. We need app icons for three variants:

"Discover Truth For Yourself"
"Knowing God"
"Minute (Bible) Study"

This contest is for the "Knowing God" variant.

Key Distinctives of this App:
1. “Study” is a verb but can be intimidating. This simple, clear pre-marked Bible passage and subsequent questions will take app users directly to God’s word to see the truth of what He says for themselves. No filter. No commentary. No agenda beyond what God put in the Scripture itself.
2. It’s a connection between the App user and God through the Bible, every day for six consecutive days. That’s where the power is.
3. The app consists of an assortment of thematic Study Tracks. Study Tracks are 6 days in duration and each day will have 1-5 verses pre-marked to show the key words and phrases around a single truth from the text. Users will subscribe to a track
4. The pre-marked symbols on each day’s Bible text help the big idea leap off the page. It makes it clear who is talking to whom and what belief and/or behavior God is addressing.
5. App users will be able to respond to the questions each day, save their notes, forward meaningful content to others and request more tracks like the one they’re currently studying.
6. We will offer a growing list of study tracks within the app.
